The American Situation

The thought of having to write this letter has already exhausted me. But write it I must. I’m beginning to feel useless and even hopeless here. Even the best soldiers can grow weary if over whelmed long enough and I’ve been on this battle front many years now.

Several have asked me not to send this sort of thing to them and so I’ve honored their wishes. Until now. They need to read this more than anyone else

Thomas Jefferson said, “All it takes for tyranny to get a good foot hold is for good men and women to do nothing.” I also know another old quote that I made up recently. It goes, “Apathy is the most powerful weapon that our enemy has against us.” It is actually easier to have enemies with in our own borders than enemies else where.

Who are these enemies? They are us! America has reached the lowest low in it’s entire history. Our currency is fake. Our ’leaders’ are liars, cheats, two faced, greedy, corrupted, patronizing, ignorant… Abortions happen at the rate of 1.2 million per year yet these same people scream, “Stop the war. No more killing!” Our country is facing countless woes and chaos and it’s all our own fault! It’s 1984 folks. Will you let it in? Or is it already to late? I feel helpless to do anything about it. The good Lord knows I’ve tried.

Anybody who is even remotely observant can see what’s going on around us. The liberals and the ACLU are winning! They have taken our most precious religious symbols out of the courts, schools, public places and yes, even the churches are not allowed to display manger scenes or crosses on public property any more. It was an act of God just to get our rights to have decorations in our own businesses again. They insist on removing the word ’God’ from the Pledge of Allegiance and from all money… This is just a drop in the bucket full of what these people have done to our country.

Look, I’m a strict conservationist. God gave us this planet to use in any way we see fit but he also expects us to take care of it. No problem, we can do that. I don’t throw trash around. I recycle. I’ll go to the park or camping with my family, when we leave the site is always cleaner than when we got there. But this liberal environmentalism thing has gone way, way to far. It’s nothing more than a way for the rich to get richer. The poles are not melting. Polar bears are not dying. The climate has not changed except to maybe get colder in most places. To top it all off people like Al Gore, Cher, Barbara Streisand, Rosie O’Donnell and all those other super shallow Hollywood pretenders leave carbon foot prints the size of Rhode Island! It’s a scam folks! A scam to take your money and it’s working. But no one listens. No one cares. And I can tell you why with one little word…Apathy! Well, okay. Two little words… Gullibility!

We have become complacent. We need a good swift kick in the butt to wake everyone up. I guess 9 / 11 wasn’t enough! I just pray to God that not too many of us have to die over it.

I find it terribly ironic that 80% of people in America claim to be Christian of some sort and yet it’s that other 20% that are actually running things. I simply cannot understand why we do not stand up for our constitutional rights and tell them where to shove it. What are we? Sheep? Brain dead? Brain dead sheep?!

I’m going to bore you with just a very few statistics here. I know how people just love statistics. This list is actually incredibly long and getting longer every day so I’ll just hit on some of the high spots. You will still get the gist of things…..

Our country is over 16 Trillion dollars in debt and counting! Yes, that’s Trillion with a ’T’ as in Ta…Ta…Ta…Trillion?… What on earth happened? (You. That’s what happened. You let this happen!) Can you even fathom 16 Trillion dollars? Neither can I. Did any of you know this? Probably not. Our government is not exactly proud of this information so although it’s not kept in secrecy never the less they don’t shout it from the roof tops either. At the end of my little story here I’ll give you a rundown on what only 1 Billion dollars looks like. See if you can wrap you minds around that.

The IRS and the Federal Reserve Bank are both Constitutionally illegal and do not have the right to take your money or property. The Constitution provides for direct taxation only. The so called Federal Reserve isn’t even Federal. It is a privately owned institution. They are illegally sucking up your money like a Hoover vacuum cleaner. Did you know that? Bet you didn’t.

Our second Amendment (The right to keep and bare arms) is sitting on the Congressional table right now and may be repealed. Folks, this is horrendous. If they pull this off there is no telling where they will stop. You don’t even have to like guns to appreciate the negative connotations in this one. Are you aware of this.

I am a full fledged American citizen. I was born here, raised here and paid

my taxes here. When I became ill and had to go on social security it took two years of just scraping by on bologna and macaroni and cheese to get my first check. A puny little check. Today’s illegal alien receives more money and more benefits from our government than I do. And they didn’t have to wait no freakin’ two years to do it. This topic almost angers me into insanity. How can our government allow this to happen. This one alone makes me want to take up arms (before they take them away) and join a revolution. I may be old, fat and crusty but I’m still pretty good with a rifle. And I’ll tell you what, all those alien huggers had better not get in the way. Are any of you aware of what the truth is here? The truth is every one of those illegal aliens represents a vote. Have you noticed that it’s the Democrats and their Queen Nancy Pelosi that are making all the noise about this? Those twenty million plus votes mean a lot to them.

Russia is looking down the barrels of it’s nuclear arsenal straight at us. China also. (They like our money but they hate our Capitalism. China also boast the worlds strongest military with over two hundred million solders ready for immediate deployment. This is not a typo. Two hundred million!) Sooner than we like to think it will also be the Arab nations and Iran. If you see a lot of people with towels on their heads, wearing beards (Most of the women wear beards too) and dressed in bathrobes trying to get out of the country really fast you may as well kiss your butt goodbye. But our country, who thinks it must be the worlds Big Brother and Police Department has brought this on themselves. Even as a child I was taught to “Mind your own business. If they want to squabble, let them squabble.” It will be the beginning of WW III for us. WW IV will be fought with sticks and stones! Surprised to hear this? It’s all true. Is it scaring you some? It should! America, you must pay better attention to these things. Our trusted leaders have done this to us. The leaders you voted into office!

Has America learned anything by these mistakes? A resounding NO belongs here. Of the three remaining candidates running for office I wouldn’t trust any of them as far as I could throw them. It’s just more of the same. Or possibly even worse. We had a chance to put one of the greatest men in probably a century into office. Ron Paul would have been very comfortable amongst our founding fathers. He lives, eats, sleeps, and drinks, the Constitution. The reasons it didn’t work are many but basically it was the voters and therefore the delegates who would not support him. People don’t vote for leaders anymore, they vote for celebrities. His own party, the GOP (Over paid low brow jerks!) would not support him. He was black listed by the media. Ask yourself how many times you saw Ron on TV as compared to the other candidates and finally the pundits (A fancy word for know nothing block heads) smeared his good name every chance they could. Lies! Lies! Lies!

I hope you enjoy the next four years voters. Thanks America, thank you very much!

Pork Barrel Spending, also called Earmarks, is the worst it has ever been in our nations history. Pork Barrel Spending is where the separate state congressmen and senators take YOUR tax money and spend it on their own individual states. Congress does not even have to vote on these earmarks. It’s money for the taking. Your money! They are trying to buy votes so that they can get re elected into that six figure job again next runoff. They buy things like Million Dollar Ferris Wheels, Waterless Toilets, Hippy Museums… This list is so long I’d need the side of a barn to write it all down. Some great examples for this year alone are Robert Byrd~$429,516,946.00, Ted Stevens~$501,882,500.00, Chris Dodd~$640,800,000.00 Hillary Clinton~$728,300,000.00 and Thad Cochran at a whopping $773,598,178.00 Don’t forget. There are fifty states involved in this. Each with two senators. Are you aware of this? You should be. It’s your money! Have you ever even heard of pork barrel spending or earmarks? Somehow I doubt it. It happens every day. Your taxes at work!

A junket is code for ‘Government Paid Vacation‘. They use this word because it sounds important and doesn’t tip off the average American boob as to what it really means. Our leaders, all 525 plus of them will receive at least one of these junkets a year and usually more. These junkets include amongst other things first class round trip airplane tickets for the members and their families to any destination they choose, the finest hotels in the world, the best restaurants and food in the world, all transportation, security, extra spending cash, the finest entertainment such as symphonies, ballet, big name bands and just about anything else you can imagine. These junkets can last as long as a month or more and cost many, even tens of thousands of dollars each. All at the swipe of a government card! Can you guess who pays for these junkets? Yup! You do. Incidentally. Ron Paul does not accept junkets When he goes on his well deserved vacation he pays for it himself!

And it keeps going, and going, and going…..

You guys. It’s our own fault. They could not get away with this kind of behavior if we simply did not allow it. After all, there are far more of us then there are of them! Also, they work for us. They are our servants. Not

our masters.

What is so sad and ironic is that our forefathers warned us of all these mistakes. They made it very clear that ignoring the Constitution and living the way we are today would spell doom for our country. I have these warnings should anyone actually give a flip and care to see them. Funny thing though, I don’t really expect to hear from anybody. (Sigh.)

You guys, I’m not blaming you. Aw, what the heck, I am blaming you. We have got to get our heads out of the sand, look around a little bit and see what’s going on. The fact that our nation is morally bankrupt alone should turn on the red lights in your head. I mean come on, twelve year old kids are having sex and doing drugs now. And their parents show no concern or remorse over it. How in God’s name can you not notice this? The good news is Jesus is coming back soon. The bad news is boy is he pissed!

Recently I offered up the opportunity for everybody to receive a copy of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States of America. Only one person took me up on that offer. One person equals heavy depression on my part. Thanks you guys.

I’ve given it my best shot but I think I’m burned out. I just don’t care anymore. I am considering cashing in my assets and moving to Liechtenstein. The great American experiment has failed .

The next time you hear a politician use the word "billion" in a casual manner, think about whether you want the "politicians" spending YOUR tax money. A billion is a difficult number to comprehend, but one advertising agency did a good job of putting that figure into some perspective in one of its releases.

A. A billion seconds ago it was 1959.
B. A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive.
C. A billion hours ago our ancestors were living in the Stone Age.
D. A billion dollars ago was only 8 hours and 20 minutes, at the rate our government is spending it.

While this thought is still fresh in our brain, let's take a look at New Orleans. It's amazing what you can learn with some simple division.

Louisiana Senator, Mary Landrieu (D), asked the Congress for $250 BILLION to rebuild New Orleans. Interesting number, what does it mean?

A. Well, if you are one of 484,674 residents of New Orleans (every man, woman, child), you each would get $516,528.
B. Or, if you have one of the 188,251 homes in New Orleans , your home gets $1,329,787.
C. Or, if you are a family of four, your family would get $2,066,012.

 Come on Washington, D.C.!! Are all of your calculators broken??
